21 Weeks (plus 1 day)

Got to see the boys this morning! So much fun! I saw my regular OB and she did a quick ultrasound....I am getting spoiled, but I am not complaining! Both boys had strong heart beats and were moving around like crazy!

How Far Along: Just over 21 weeks

Size of Baby: Two Bananas

Picture of Baby: I forgot to ask for pics, I was so engrossed in seeing them move around!

Maternity Clothes: All maternity clothes except for some of my bigger t-shirts and stretchy pants. I even had to go buy new bras and underwear....mine were cutting off my circulation!

Weight Gain: 25 pounds

Belly:

Stretch Marks: Not yet!

Sleep:  Still horrible! Can't get comfortable and nose is constantly stuffed up! Please feel free to share your magic sleeping positions with me!

Best Moment of the Week: Seeing my beautiful boys this morning!

Movement: I don't feel them all the time, but when I do...it's pretty intense! They'll kick around for like 10 minutes straight and my stomach/shirt will pop up and down. It's so crazy but so cool! I feel the one on the right side a lot more because his placenta is posterior, the other baby has an anterior placenta so I don't feel him as much.

Symptoms: Always hungry, tired because of lack of sleep, lots of peeing and of course the ever present sinus issues.

Food Cravings: Ice cream and milkshakes. Juice...like apple or grape. Still chicken mcnuggets!

Gender: Two gorgeous boys!

What I Miss: Sleeping through the night!!!!

What I'm Looking Forward to: Seeing the perinatologist in a week and a half and getting more measurements of the boys! Getting all the nursery things I've ordered, continued growing belly, feeling more movement, baby shower!

Nursery: I finally started ordering things for the nursery. I got both bedding sets, a lamp, the twin bassinet/pack n play, baby bag, twin nursing pillow, two swings, humidifier and some storage baskets. Next we plan to order the cribs, changing table and dresser. I'm starting to get anxious to get the nursery together!

Weekly Wisdom: This is funny, but my OB said this to me this morning "babies are like parasites, even when you don't feel good or are uncomfortable, at your expense....they are doing just fine in there." HA! Good to know!

Milestones: Each day is a milestone in my mind, I'm so thankful to be 21 weeks pregnant.

Emotions: Sooooo happy!!

My doc okayed Zyrtec, so I've been taking a zyrtec before bed and sleeping with a pillow under the top section of my snoogle in order to keep my head a little elevated to let the sinuses drain. It's the only way I've been able to get any sleep. GOod luck!

Love all the planning and can't wait to see when you get the nursery together! I finally found a comfy sleeping position, it doesn't stop all the trips to the bathroom, but at least I can fall back asleep now in between the trips. I form the snoogle in a V shape facing the bottom of the bed, use a regular pillow at the top of the snoogle, and put an extra pillow behind the side of the snoogle that I prop my back against. Took me 32 weeks to find the most comfy spot for me... hope you find it much sooner! Sounds like things are moving right along, so happy for you!

You look adorable! I hope you're getting lots of belly pictures with your face in them. One of my biggest regrets from my first pregnancy was not taking many pictures of myself. I did biweekly belly shots but always cut off my face. Next time I will be smart!

Getting the nursery ready is so much fun. It just stares you in the face and makes you SO excited for them to get here! I hope you're loving every minute of this!
